- A Contemporary Gathering on Sunday Morning @ 10:30 a.m. This gathering makes use of contemporary music, visual arts, various musical instruments (including drum)

Loving Others…
We seek to allow our discovery of the way of Jesus to affect the way we live life. Believing that we are blessed by God to bless others, we regularly look for ways that we can bless our neighborhood and world. It’s as simple as – if you see a need in the neighborhood let us know and you and we can form a team to meet that need.
Some teams are one-time events and others are ongoing in nature. Some kinds of blessing teams that we have had…
1. a team of walkers, runners in a community 5K to raise funds for Pinehurst Elementary School’s handicapped accessible playground.
2. Regular teams that help Habitat for Humanity build houses or other needed duties.
3. A team of people that work in various homeless ministries.
4. Regularly preparing and serving a meal at a soup kitchen.
5. A team that visits in the local nursing home.
6. We welcome Salisbury Univ. freshmen to town each year by giving away cold water bottles on Move-in day.
7. Whatever need you see….
Our continued efforts to bless Pinehurst Elementary School, which is our neighborhood school, has resulted in a deepening relationship with them as their Faith Based Partner.
In addition to the blessing teams, we seek to be involved in our neighborhood in a variety of ways. Every year we open our facility to become an emergency homeless shelter for men. Each September (usually the 3rd Sunday) we host a free neighborhood pork roast and fun fest and we invite our neighbors to join us.

Facility…
In 2007, God graciously provided us with a place of our own (previously, we had rented facilities for worship on Sundays). While it looks like a church, we are careful to call it a Ministry Center as we firmly believe that WE ARE the church. The church is people, not a building. The building is a tool that helps us accomplish the mission God has given us.
It took us several months to remodel the facility and transform it in a manner that would enhance our ability to live the mission God has given us. On July 22, 2007, we opened our doors and have been steadily growing since. We enjoy being in the neighborhood and seek to develop positive relationships with our neighbors. We also seek to make positive contributions to our neighborhood. One way we work at that is our Annual Pork Roast where we invite the neighbors to come and enjoy a free meal and some time to connect with each other and us in a relaxed family friendly atmosphere.
