Small Groups for Young People

JoyKidz is a bi-weekly ministry for Children grades K-5 which meets on the 2^nd and 4^th Sundays of the month from 6-8 p.m. in the Salisbury Christian School’s Nehemiah Center Multi-purpose room.
Kids come together for a fun and interactive play and study time.  Physical activities, singing, drama, crafts and snack time are incorporated in this dynamic learning experience for kids.

C² (Christ’s Clay) is a "way-cool-fun" Junior and Senior High Youth Group that meets on the 2^nd and 4^th Sundays of the month from 6-8 p.m. in the Salisbury Christian School’s Founder’s Hall Bruce Library and Conference Center.
Our youth are very active in the community and are always going places and doing things.  Upcoming events include a car wash to raise money to go to a work camp in Chicago this summer.

 Life Transformation Groups (LTG) are groups of 3 people (of the same gender) who meet weekly for Bible Study, prayer, accountability, and support.  During the week these groups read the same pre-determined Bible passages and are encouraged to journal on them.  See Pastor Martin for details.

Crown Financial Ministry – Achieving Financial Freedom Small Groups are held 2 or 3 times a year.      Contact Pastor Martin if you are interested in taking this course (410)548-9930.

What is a cell group meeting like?

Our cell groups are 6-12 people who gather together weekly for a time of fellowship, study, caring, encouragement, support, outreach… They mostly meet in group leader’s homes in a very casual and relaxed atmosphere.

Each cell group meeting is about one and a half hours long and begins with a time of fellowship…just having fun and getting to know each other better.  Then the groups spend time looking at the Bible through Bible study aimed at finding answers to our questions about living a meaningful life today.  Most groups end with a time of sharing personal needs, supporting one another, and praying together.

How do I join a cell group at Community of Joy?

There are several ways to get acquainted with Cell groups at Community of Joy… 

1.   Pick a group from the list and call the leader.  They can give you specific information and directions to the gathering place.

2.   Call Pastor Martin at the office (410-548-9930) and he will get a leader to call you.

3.   Email us at info@joyfilled.com.

4.  Call the leader of the group that interests you.
